La Liga affiliate Osasuna revealed tonight that the club has suffered a severe blow in terms of personnel.
This comes by way of confirmation that José Arnaiz is set for an incoming spell on the sidelines.
Arnaiz, meanwhile, has played a pivotal role in Jagoba Arrasate’s squad this season, having joined Osasuna when he signed his contract with Leganes last summer.
In total, the 28-year-old has featured in 18 of Los Rojillos’ 23 league games, scoring a goal and helping along the way.
However, last week, while training, Arnaiz injured his hamstring.
And the challenge proved enough to rule him out of Osasuna’s next La Liga match against Real Sociedad.
According to an official posted on the club’s website and social media platforms:
“Striker José Arnáiz underwent medical examinations at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, which indicated that he suffered from a myofibrillar injury in the biceps femoris of the right biceps femoris system. The player was injured last Wednesday during his training. He will not be available for tomorrow’s opponent’s match. to Real Sociedad and is waiting for changes.
