Dennis Grall of Escanaba, Michigan, has not missed a home playoff game for Packers since 1961, even with a service in Vietnam. Grall would like to see more enthusiasts in Sunday’s game, but the Packers said the outdoor seats in Lambeau were fully used as a component of the social estating rules they use. The team does not use interior seats, which come with club seats and luxury boxes.

“Overall, we were pleased with the entrance, exit and lobby,” said Aaron Popkey, director of public affairs at the Packers. “We will conduct a more detailed review of operations as we prepare for next Sunday. “

Grall said the Packers were respectful but persistent in encouraging enthusiasts to wear masks and keep their distance.

“They were right, they made sure you wearing your mask as you passed (the doors),” he said. “If they saw who didn’t have a mask, they would come up to him and tell him to put on his mask. If I didn’t eat or drink, they were tight enough.

Grall provided a friend, who will pick up tickets again for Sunday. He said it would be devastating to miss a playoff game now. He and his friend had their first COVID-19 vaccines.

“I hope the averages come into play,” he said.

Dave Davel of Brookfield, a long-time Packers fan, attended his first game at Lambeau Field on Saturday after they gave tickets to a friend, but it probably wouldn’t be his last. Even with only 10% of the stadium full, Davel said it was a fabulous experience.

“Moving was simple and the crowd was so excited, and it seemed like everyone knew each other,” she said. “It was incredibly noisy. Everyone in my quick domain was doing everything they could to make noise. I didn’t see anyone sitting and watching the game. “

Davel expects to be at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

“Now I’m addicted. It’s like your first fried potato,” he says.

Once they return, fans will be invited to stick to fitness and protection protocols, adding masked dresses and social estating.

“Enthusiasts were especially attentive and receptive if our other friends asked them to hide again,” Popkey said. “We will continue to watch. “
