Paedophile coach Barry Bennell jailed for four more years

Former football coach and serial paedophile Barry Bennell was sentenced today to his fifth criminal conviction: 4 years in prison for nine sexual offences against two children.

Crewe Alexandra’s 66-year-old former coach pleaded guilty to three counts of sodomy and six counts of indecent attack at a previous hearing in July.

Today, he gave the impression of the HMP Littlehey video convention in Cambridgeshire, where he serves a 30-year sentence after being convicted of 52 sexual offences against children in 2018.

The court heard that Bennell had an indifferent retina after being attacked in a criminal and was in remission of cancer. Four of his victims were in court for the conviction.

Judge Patrick Thompson said the sentence would be served as a result of his current sentence of a total of 34 years.

But the court also heard that it would be the last lawsuit against Bennell, who will not stop being a criminal until he is at least 80 years old. More than a hundred victims are believed to have come forward to claim that they had been abused through the paedophile.
