Paris Saint-Germain has closed the signing of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli.
The 23-year-old winger has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract that will allow him to stay at the French club until the summer of 2029.
Upon joining the club, the Georgia international said: “It’s a dream to be here. I’ve heard a lot of very positive things about Paris Saint-Germain. I feel immense pride in joining this great club and I’m really looking forward to wearing my new colours.”

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi said: “We are very happy to welcome Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to the Paris Saint-Germain family. Khvicha is one of the most exciting players in world football: a talent, but also a player who has courage and fights for the team above all else.
“Khvicha was so determined to be part of our great club. I know he will achieve all his goals with us.”
Last weekend, Napoli coach Antonio Conte said the 23-year-old had “asked for the club to be sold” and the winger posted a video on his social media on Thursday saying “it’s time to say goodbye” to the Italian club.
The Georgian forward was a key part of the Napoli side that won Italy’s top flight in 2022-23, registering 25 goal contributions in 34 appearances as the club won the Scudetto for only the third time in their history.

In 2024, he became the leader of the Georgian team that reached the round of 16 of the Euro Cup in the country’s first participation in a top-level foreign tournament before its elimination against long-distance champions Spain.
Kvaratskhelia has scored goals and assisted on 3 goals in Serie A this season. Napoli currently leads the league table with 47 points from 20 games.
