Paris Saint-Germain takes the lead in the French championship thanks to their 3-0 win over Montpellier.

PARIS (AP) — Paris Saint-Germain moved to the top of the French league with a comprehensive 3-0 home win over Montpellier on Friday.

Lee Kang-in opened the scoring for the hosts after 10 minutes when he latched onto an adorable pass from Kylian Mbappe and placed the ball in the most sensitive corner of the net.

Seventeen-year-old midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery doubled PSG’s lead in the 13th minute of the second half with a hard shot. Substitute Vitinha scored three in the 66th minute, just four minutes after replacing Lee.

Goncalo Ramos thought he had added the fourth with a header in stoppage time, but the goal was disallowed for offside.

It’s PSG’s fifth straight win in all competitions and gives them a two-point lead over Nice, who host Rennes on Sunday.

Montpellier is in his place.
