Pat Nevin mulls Christian Pulisic’s first season at Chelsea FC

The American foreigner enjoyed a first season with the Blues after partnering with West London after moving out of Borussia Dortmund last summer.

Pulisic produced a series of impressive performances during the crusade and attracted specific attention to the part of the season that followed the rupture caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The 21-year-old has finished with goals and 4 assists in 25 Premier League appearances this season, scoring 4 goals and giving two assists in his last 10 rides with the Blues.

Former Chelsea FC star Nevin says he’s inspired by what he’s noticed at Pulisic this season and expects even more from him in the upcoming seasons.

In his column for Chelsea FC’s website, Nevin said: “There were times when Christian Pulisic seemed to be running away with the Player of the Year trophy.

“Sometimes he seemed like our greatest scorer and sensible creator. Chelsea enthusiasts will soon tire of comparing him to Eden Hazard, which is unfair to him, but they also know that for raw talent, adjustment intelligence and dazzling speed as well as eye for goal, at 21, he may be one of the top players of this club in the next five to ten years.

“But have you done enough to win the trophy this season? Well, it depends on those who vote, however, you’ll take a look at some to put the proverbial X next to its name.

Chelsea FC will play the Champions League next season after finishing fourth in the Premier League standings at Frank Lampard’s first at Stamford Bridge.
