The Blues signed Werner to a £ 54m deal with RB Leipzig at the start of the summer move window, despite the fact that the prolific German forward was connected in the past with a move to Liverpool FC.
Werner scored 28 games in 34 Bundesliga games last season to win praise for his prolific performances with RB Leipzig.
Chelsea FC hired Werner teammate Havertz last month on a million-pound contract with Bayer Leverkusen of the Bundesliga to charge more creativity at Frank Lampard’s midfield.
The 21-year-old has scored 36 goals in 118 games in all competitions with Bayer Leverkusen for more than 4 seasons despite his relative inexperience.
Lampard has pitched Havertz and Werner in Chelsea FC’s four Premier League matches in the current campaign, however, the German duo have struggled to have a story have an effect in west London so far.
The former Wings winger, Nevin, backs Toztz and Werner to begin generating strong performances as the “bubble” duo beneath the surface at Stamford Bridge.
“We are still waiting for the expected explosion of new players,” Nevin told Chelsea FC’s website.
“Obviously Kai Havertz (three), Ben Chilwell (one) and Timo Werner (one) are all in an irrelevant position, but it still seems that Timo and Kai are in a position to explode on stage.
“For once, I think Chelsea will surely be very happy to see many of those players move on on to a mission abroad, but why?
“I think Kai and Timo want as many games as possible to get back not only to their fitness point mid-season, but even higher than expected week after week in the Premier League.
“Unless they get injured in the outside service, everyone will come back more than when they leave, especially if they can get a full set or two in their credits for their own country. “
Havertz and Werner were two of Chelsea FC’s eight recruits this summer, while Lampard was looking for the Blues as Premier League champions.
The Blues won 3–1 at Brighton in their first game of the season before Chelsea FC suffered a 2-0 loss to protective champion Liverpool FC.
West London drew 3-3 with West Brom for the Hawthorns in their away game before Lampard won 4-0 at Crystal Palace last weekend.
