The promoter of the Patarei maritime castle in Tallinn, the entrepreneur Urmas Sarumaa, inaugurated the historic complex from Tuesday.
The goal is to make the site a hot spot for painting and recreation until 2026. Initially, the castle courtyard was remodeled in a recreational area where visitors can attend exhibitions, events, concerts and shows. Information about the castle’s occasions and developments can be obtained (in Estonian) on its website.
Martin Kolga, U/S Real Estate progression director, said the court was the center of Patarei Castle from the beginning.
Kolga said: “We are pleased to allow visitors access several years before the final touch of the resort. In the future, a glass roof will be added to the backyard, so you can enjoy smart food and smart time.” regardless of the time of year.”
The Patarei Maritime Fortress, which is part of the European architectural heritage, is a 19th-century coastal defense structure, which was acquired through U/S Real Estate in February this year.
The complex will have to be remodeled in a trendy urban setting with apartments, shops, cafes and offices.
U /S Real Estate belongs to the U.S. Invest Group in Sarumaa, which employs more than 2,000 people.
