Jason McCourty would love what happened on October 18, 2009, but neither the Internet nor his Patriots teammates will allow it.
As you may recall, New England destroyed then-recruit McCourty and the Tennessee Titans in the snow at Gillette Stadium that day. The 59-0 defeat made history as one of the worst eruptions not only in Patriots history, but also in the NFL. long story.
NFL Films on Tuesday shared a video of Matthew Slater talking to Nick Folk about some of his favorite snow games, adding patriots-Titans’ notorious laugh. it also provoked a strong reaction from McCourty.

It remains to be noted whether McCourty or Slater will return to the Patriots, or even the NFL, next season. McCourty, 33, is younger than Slater, 35, but seemed much closer to the end of the 2020 season line. In addition, both players are Super Bowl champions and actually have nothing left to prove.
That said, replacing a freestyle and a special team shooter would be the last of the Patriots’ up disorders this off-season. After the worst crusade in more than two decades, New England has much to accomplish in the coming months, even if it turns out bill Belichick is up to the task.
