Patson Daka: Red Bull Salzburg wins fourth Bundesliga Player of the Month award

Red Bull Salzburg striker Patson Daka has been named the Austrian Bundesliga Player of the Month for April.

The 22-year-old made a key move for Jesse Marsch’s men in the month under review, scoring 4 goals, adding his hat-trick against Sturm Graz.

His performances helped the Red Bull Arena team to thirteen problems after 4 wins and a draw in the review month.

The striker’s effort was enough to win the award for the fourth time this season and for the second consecutive time after winning it in September, January, March and April.

Daka now has 31 goals, adding 24 in the Bundesliga, and nine assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.

The striker has been at Salzburg since 2017 and has consistent performances for the club, helping them win the league name 3 times in a row in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

He also played a role in winning the Austrian Cup trophy 3 times in a row in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Daka agent and former Sevilla star Frederic Kanoute recently revealed that his consumer is fit to leave Red Bull Salzburg and praised his progression at the club.

“I think it’s time for a new challenge at the end of the season. It started this season. It’s developing almost daily,” Kanouté told Sky Sport.

Daka has scored more than 60 goals for Bull Salzburg in all competitions, amid dazzling performances since his arrangement with Kafue Celtic.

The striker hopes to continue his performances ahead of goal when the Red Bulls face Rapid Wien on Wednesday.

Daka has also been a member of the Zambian national team since being promoted to the senior national team in 2015 after betting for the country’s under-17 and under-20 teams.

He made 25 appearances for Chipolopolo, scored seven goals, and is expected to actively participate in their World Cup qualifiers.
