Paul Gascoigne left the hysterical audience with his attempts to speak Italian in his appearance in the national edition of I’m A Celebrity – L’Isola dei Famosi.
The 53-year-old football legend made a strong impression on his introductory video before launching himself from a helicopter on Monday’s live broadcast.
Gazza, who spent three years at Club Rome Lazio, did his thing to speak the language, but left the audience laughing when he didn’t understand host Ilary Blasi.
Paul found himself trapped in his filming for the first episode while filming scenes on a remote desert island believed to be Cayos Cochinos in Central America, Honduras, Central America, but his distorted introduction stole the show.

In the interview, Gascoigne was asked about his Italian, to which he said with his strong geordie accent: “Okay. It’s only the first day, I hope it is. “
He admitted, “I don’t speak Italian very well,” before starting his perorata, in which he strangely used the word for snakes.
