According to ESPN, French coach Didier Deschamps announced the news on Thursday: “Paul Pogba was first on the list, but unfortunately for him he underwent a check that proved positive this morning.”
France’s clash against Sweden is scheduled for September 5 and its clash with Croatia is scheduled for September 8.
