Pedro’s three-year contract with Serie A Roma

World Cup winner Pedro Rodrigues signed a three-year contract with Roma in Serie A on Tuesday, he announced.

With the signing of this contract, the former Chelsea player will remain on the Italian side until 30 June 2023.

“The club is very happy to announce the signing of World Cup winner Pedro Rodríguez. The 33-year-old Spanish striker joins the club on a three-year contract that runs until June 30, 2023,” the club said in a statement.

After signing a contract, Peter said he was very happy to sign for Rome.

“I am very happy to be here in Rome. I am very happy to take on this challenge and compete to achieve our goals in the coming seasons. I need to thank the enthusiasts for the welcome they have given me. I hope to make them happy. “The club official quoted Peter saying.

Finally sono giallorosso! Molto Felice di Entrare apart from questo grand club e di difendere questa maglia. Grazie Rome! I’m finally giallorosso! Very happy to join this great club and defend this shirt. Thank you Rome! @OfficialASRoma #ForzaRoma #ASRoma pic.twitter.com/4RaWdDsxq1

From the World Cup to the Champions League, Pedro has won it all in his career. The Spaniard has 25 primary trophies to his name, the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League and La Liga.

At the foreign level, it is part of the Spanish national team that won the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012.

In total, he made appearances with his country, scoring 17 goals.

“It is a privilege for us to be able to welcome a player of Peter’s quality into the Roma family,” said the club’s general manager, Guido Fienga.

“The hope we have, both for him and for us, is that he can continue to complete his usual list of achievements with AS Roma,” Fienga added.

The Tenerife-born winger has spent the last five seasons at Chelsea, helping the club win the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League at the time. His contract with the Blues expired before this summer.

The new Serie A season is scheduled to begin on September 19 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
