EMERY SWEEPSTAKE

Villarreal, coming out of 5th place last time, enters the new season with the highest expectation after summoning players such as Dani Parejo and Takefusa Kubo, but it is a tricky start against Huesca.

Villarreal kept the draw with a penalty in the 68 minutes he changed through Gerard Moreno after a video showed Pablo Maffeo’s hand.

Maffeo had put the striker in ’42.

“I think the team did well enough to win the game,” Emery said. “After the equalization, we were very close to your region. We have things to improve, but there are a lot of things we’ve done well. “

Kubo, on loan from Real Madrid, entered the match as a defeated substitute.

Huesca is back in its season in the most sensible category after being relegated after its first promotion two years ago.

PELLEGRINI’S VICTORY

Tello scored 4 minutes after the time off to give Pellegrini’s initial triumph at Alavés.

Tello entered the game late and scored the winning goal with a low left-handed shot from outside the area in Betis’ first official adjustment under Chilean command.

“When replacements work, it’s simple to give the coach credit,” Pellegrini said. “But the players who came in did very well and we were going to set the purpose that gave us victory. We knew we could win until the end.

Veteran Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo also debuted successfully with Betis, keeping the blade blank.

The fit was originally scheduled to take place on Monday, but moved to the weekend after a scheduled dispute between the Spanish league and the Spanish football federation, which opposes the Monday and Friday phytos.

Friday’s match between Granada and Athletic Bilbao also moved to the weekend.
