PES 2021: The smallest and least expensive access to this year’s football series has been detailed and dated

This year’s access to the PES football series, eFootball PES 2021, will not be a complete update: it will be a season update, with fewer adjustments than the same and the same fundamental gameplay as in 2020. Now Konami has revealed more key points on what we can expect from this year’s access, adding the value and release date.

The eFootball PES 2021 season update, as the game is officially called, will be released on September 15 on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. You will be charged $30 for the popular edition or $35 for an edition of the Partner Club, which will come with exclusive content for your club: FC Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United, FC Bayern or Arsenal FC. You can also take advantage of a 20% “loyalty” reduction in those Partner Club editions through pre-orders up to PES 2020.

Despite the name, it will be (a little more) more than a seasonal update. With all the knowledge of the players and club lists (first day patch available), the game will also host UEFA Euro 2020 content, which reached PES 2020 in a reduced form after COVID-19 delayed the tournament schedule. This will come with all 44 UEFA teams, an offline tournament mode and Wembley Stadium.

The iconic Moment series, which joined PES 2020 in an update, will also be available at launch. This mode allows you to relive ancient moments from football history. It remains to be noted how it will differ from the previous edition of the game, but I hope it comes with new moments.

Other than that, don’t expect a big replacement in the game. PES 2022 is expected to be a bigger game, leaving behind the Fox engine the series uses lately. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the PES, which will lead to new celebrations in the game.

PES 2020 players can also expect a “veteran bonus” in the new game, depending on what you’ve achieved in the original. More important points can be earned on the PES website, and you have until the game launched to qualify.

FIFA 21, meanwhile, will have a more classic and intergenerational edition this year (except on Switch). Here is our pre-order for the game.
