Petr Cech to fly to Germany to hold face-to-face talks with Bayer Leverkusen for more than 70 million pounds from Kai Havertz to Chelsea

The German look demanded an exorbitant payment of 90 million pounds for the impressive striker, but with two years left on contract they resign the point of wasting it for less.

According to Sky Germany, Blues’ technical director Cech is expected to have a face-to-face meeting with the 21-year-old.

The Chelsea legend also helped pull the strings out of Timo Werner’s deal when he made an “undercover” with Germany before the blockade.

Cech, who speaks German fluently, is there at that time to deal with any communication issues with the player’s father and agent.

Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger has also helped his team reach an agreement, but Cech may not have to be too persuasive about Havertz.

The German midfielder would like to move west to London despite the interest of Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Frank Lampard has made him the number one signing for the club, having hit striker Werner and winger Hakim Ziyech.

Non-public conditions would have been agreed, while only the main express points should be finalized between the two parties.

Havertz joined the task Lampard is building after talking to Blues’ director.

And Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz admitted in June that the midfielder’s master could be sold before August.

Chelsea are on the verge of winning the Champions League for next season, with a victory in one of their last two Premier League matches, enough to secure their position in the most productive competition in Europe.

But Havertz is expected to be able to sign for Chelsea, whether or not he qualifies for the Champions League.

Leverkusen’s sporting director Rudi Voller revealed earlier this month that there was an agreement with the player that he would be allowed to leave before the next campaign.

He said, “We have a — if it suits you, you can leave this summer.”

Havertz has had an amazing season for the German team this season, with 17 goals and nine assists in 43 matches in all competitions.
