PFF tells Quincy Roche a prospect who wants football this fall

Miami and the Atlantic Coast Conference plan to play this fall.

This is news for UM’s Quincy Roche according to Pro Football Focus.

The analytics website, which also focuses heavily on the NFL draft, wednesday named 25 players who will have to play games sometime in the coming months for the sake of their inventory plan.

One of them Roche.

“Roche is as unstoppable as anyone who didn’t call Chase Young last year… AAFC. Doing it in Temple is not the same as doing it as opposing Power Five tackles,” Michael Renner wrote. “After putting 10 pounds in the off-season, if Roche can continue to dominate the ACC, he will be seriously considered at the beginning of the game.”

Roche is expected to play a vital role this season for the Hurricanes after star driver Greg Rousseau withdrew from the 2020 season. Over the weekend, the Virginia venue produced a handful of negative games at the time of the UM scrum at preseason camp.

Miami defensive line coach Todd Stroud noted a few weeks ago that The Rock with Jaelan Phillips and Jahfari Havery would give the Hurricanes a fatal run.

“These three are as talented as any we had in my time at the University of Miami, which is a lovely thing,” Stroud told reporters.

Roche has not appeared in many of the NFL’s first-round simulation projects, however, he is the 29th player on the first Big Board of CBS Sports ‘2021 NFL Draft, which was released this week.
