Philadelphia Eagles supporter Jatavis Brown retires at age 26

Philadelphia Eagles supporter Jatavis Brown retired Sunday, opting to finish his NFL career at age 26 after only four seasons.

Brown, a loose agent in March, placed his call on the reservists/retired list. According to ESPN, “the inner word that he just thinks it’s time for him to go.” Brown had signed a one-year contract that would allow him to earn up to $1.0475 million, adding $550,000 in guarantees.

Brown online to potentially start and be a special team contributor. The Eagles list includes T.J. supporters. Edwards, Nate Gerry, Davion Taylor, Duke Riley, Alex Singleton, Shaun Bradley and Dante Olson.

The Chargers decided on Brown of Akron in the fifth circular of the 2016 draft. In Akron, it was the first All-MAC team 3 years in a row.
