Cristiano Ronaldo has tested for coronavirus, the Portuguese Football Federation (AEDT) announced on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old Juventus striker “is asymptomatic” but will “play Sweden” in Thursday’s League of Nations match, the federation said on his website.
“It feels good, perfect,” his Juve partner Giorgio Chiellini told Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri.
Ronaldo, who has been chosen five times as a World Cup player, played the Portuguese League of Nations draw against France on Sunday.
The federation added that the rest of the Portuguese national team “all negative” after Wednesday morning tests, as well as the French national team, according to the French Football Federation.
The result of the control oversteer over his departure from Juventus’ turin home to the camp in Portugal, which was, according to the local fitness government in Italy’s Piedmont region, a violation of antivirus protocol.
Ronaldo and other Juventus stars left to join their national groups despite the fact that the team is away after two staff members tested positive for the virus.
Roberto Testi, director of the regional fitness authority, said prosecutors had been informed of the players’ unauthorized departure.
A symbol that the superstar shared on social media also surprises.
Associated Press football correspondent Rob Harris tweeted that “yesterday there wasn’t much social esttachment in the Portuguese team’s food,” while others encouraged Ronaldo to delete the photo.

RONALDO PLANS TO LOSE KEY MATCHES
Ronaldo has scored 101 goals for Portugal and will be a massive absence for his team opposing Sweden as they aim to retain the most sensible place in his group.
Contracting the disease is also a severe blow to Juventus, as the fitness protocol in force for Serie A stipulates that Ronaldo must isolate himself for 10 days and then sign a negative check before he can resume play.
That Ronaldo will miss Juve’s Serie A match at Crotone on Saturday and the inaugural match of the Italian Champions League organization level at Dynamo Kiev within a week.
The result of the verification also means that Ronaldo is in doubt for the Juventus Champions League organization to fit into Barcelona on 28 October, which due to the pit, Ronaldo opposed former rival Lionel Messi.
The news sent shockwaves to world football.
“I wish Cristiano a prompt recovery, ” tweeted Muelles Morgan.
Former England foreigner Gary Lineker wrote, “I’m sure you’ll see him as comfortably as the defenders. “
His girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez, posted a story on Instagram with an image of Ronaldo with the caption: “You are my inspiration”.

COVID WREAKS HAVOC INTERNATIONALLY
Ronaldo, who also played for Manchester United and Real Madrid, is the highest-scoring footballer who has tested positive for COVID-19, who has killed more than a million people since the start of the previous pandemic this year.
Brazilian striker Neymar, his Paris Saint-Germain teammate Kylian Mbappé and AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic have also been tested for the virus in recent weeks.
Premier League champion Liverpool have placed Senegalese striker Sadio Mane and Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara after last week’s positive.
Last week, two of Ronaldo’s Portuguese teammates, goalkeeper Anthony Lopes and defender José Fonte, also returned to the trials, forcing them to abandon League of Nations matches.
The foreign rupture has been marked through a multitude of players who contract the virus as it continues around the world.
The Republic of Ireland had ruled five players just before the League of Nations draw against Wales after a team member tested for the virus.
Meanwhile, Ukraine had to hire 45-year-old assistant coach Oleksandr Shovkovsky for last week with France when the virus wiped out the team.
Ukraine also lost to Germany on Saturday in the League of Nations with 14 players lost, either by injury or by the virus.
