PHOTOS: Southampton’s new old-fashioned kits set a record

Southampton is celebrating its 135th anniversary with some taste and, after introducing new old-fashioned uniforms for the 2020-21 season, have been a huge hit with fans.

The Premier League team unveiled their new home and third jersey this month, with a nod to their formation in 1885 as the Young Men’s Association of the Church of St. Mary of England. Fun fact: the church of Santa Maria, where they were founded in 1885, is a few hundred meters from his house in the st. Mary’s Stadium.

More important points have come in the new uniform, with pre-sales numbers that leave the Premier League club pleasantly surprised.

Southampton’s new uniforms “attract an unprecedented degree of pre-sales orders and set it to be the ultimate pre-sale team success ever registered for the club.” The South Coast club added that the new house uniform will be wearing for the first time when it welcomes Sheffield United on Sunday at St Mary’s Stadium (start time, 11 a.m. ET and watch NBCSports.com online) in their last game of the season.

Southampton’s new kits are manufactured through the US company Under Armour, its longtime partner, and the house jersey is an all-red T-shirt with a white diagonal belt and the third kit is a white T-shirt with a red diagonal belt.

The design of the diagonal belt will pay homage to Southampton’s original uniforms in 1885, when players wore white jerseys and then had a red belt to put on their shoulders.

Usually Southampton plays with red and white stripes, however, this replacement is a great hat to its beyond and have done anything for its 125th anniversary.

Southampton FC marketing manager Charlie Read explained the new uniform and how it aligns with the taste of wasted play on the Ralph Hasenhuttl field. We all saw him in his heroic 1-0 win over Man City recently.

“As we celebrate the 135th anniversary of Southampton Football Club, players, staff and enthusiasts are proud not to forget our rich history, and that’s why the new kit features the iconic belt design that first decorated Southampton shirts in 1885,” Read said. “We have had a fighting spirit and we are proud of it, so we could not think of a better way to commemorate the 135th anniversary of the club than by reminding our enthusiasts of the many times we have challenged opportunities in our entire rich history. “

Take a look at the images below to see the new kits, while you can buy them here and the outdoor kit will be released in August.

BONUS: For players, Southampton released this old-fashioned video game with a tradition of laughter to celebrate its history and the release of the new kit, while a character who looks a lot like local hero Danny Ings roams the streets of Southampton with the flavor of ”Super Mario” on his way to collect coins, trophies and in all likelihood new kits. The Spurs point to Hojbjerg: Tottenham Hotspur announced tuesday the capture of Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who would get a small payout in return, as right-back Kyle Walker-Peters in return.

[MORE: Premier League transfers: each and every one will offer 20 clubs]

Hojbjerg, 25, had been closely associated with a move to Tottenham in recent weeks, as Jose Mourinho rebuilt after finishing sixth place in his first (partial) season at the club. He joined the Spurs after four seasons in Southampton, where he proved to be a reliable ball winner, whatever the Spurs desperately have for some time.

Hojbjerg’s adjustment in midfield deserves to be offering Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele, as long as he stays at the club during the summer play window, all the defensive canopy needed to improve matches on the opposite side of the field. Too many times in 2019-20, the Spurs lacked a player like Hojbjerg to interrupt the game and make the undeniable pass to two star midfielders and leave them in their path satisfied.

Walker-Peters spent the moment on the 2019–20 season on loan at the Saints of Spurs. He obviously inspired Ralph Hasenhuttl and convinced everyone at St. Mary’s Stadium that he was a Premier League player. He has made a dozen appearances with the Spurs in the last 3 years, but has never controlled to join the first team, as Mauricio Pochettino’s appearance rose more and more in the ranks of PL and Europe.

The UEFA Champions League quarter-finals take the climax this week and we will choose a key war that deserves the final results of the 4 matches.

[LIVE: Champions League results]

With Manchester City favourite against Lyon, a big clash between Barcelona and Bayern Munich, as well as intriguing links between Atalanta and PSG, as well as RB Leipzig against Atletico Madrid, the final games of the 2019–20 Champions League crusade will be so close. Call.

[MORE: Man City beat Real Madrid]

In the coming days, the Champions League quarter-finals will be when the mini-tournament begins in Portugal.

Manchester City beat Real Madrid 4-2 overall to succeed in the eighth round and Pep Guardiola’s boys will be confident but distrustful after Lyon eliminated Juventus in the 16th circular. Bayern opposed Barcelona being a general attack, while Atletico v. Leipzig will be full of courage and Atalanta and PSG can be placed 6-5 opposite any of the teams when two fluid attacks collide.

Lisbon, Portugal, will host the Quarter-final Champions League matches, and there will be an exhibition over the next few days.

Below is a review of key battles, such as watching and watching all the quarter-finals of the Champions League in the United States.

Yes, that Marten from Middlesbrough’s. The Dutch midfielder caused a sensation in Atalanta and made the most of the dirty paintings for Gomez, Zapata and others. to score tons of goals on the boat. His war in the engine room in front of Ander Herrera will be crucial. Marco Verratti was injured and is a big blow, especially with Kylian Mbappé and Angel di Maria also for PSG. Neymar and Icardi will look for the midfielder to give them everything imaginable and if that happens, the PSG can cause a riot. That said, if De Roon can win this war with Herrera, the Atalanta forwards can cause major defensive unrest in the PSG. Whoever wins the middle-country war will win this game. It deserves to be adjusted and complete goals. Enjoy.

This deserves to be an epic face-to-face. Costa loves individual leftovers and Upamecano is lately one of the most productive power plants in Europe. The young Frenchman is not intimidated, but Costa will do well. Costa was hardly prolific in his time at Atletico, but set the tone for his dissatisfied performances with Diego Simeone. Leipzig likes to play 3 times behind and that can leave Costa with room to run in Upamecano. It’ll be intriguing. Watch out for Costa to put your marker on the exit with your elbows and everything else flying in Upamecano.

Well, then we know how Jerome Boateng went before as opposed to Lionel Messi. Somehow, someone is still employing Boateng’s gif by tangling his own legs like spaghetti when Messi took him to score at camp Nou. So it’s probably better for flexible Austrian star David Alaba to face Messi. Chances are that Alaba plays in the back, but he necessarily deserves to score Messi, and when (or if, because it’s Messi) he gets the ball back, he has the quality to launch attacks. Bayern and Barcelona score a lot of goals, but they want to do it defensively if they want to win the Champions League this season.

Everyone is tilting Manchester City to easily beat Lyon, but that’s what everyone said about Lyon behind Juventus. Memphis Depay is a genuine risk in the most sensible case and Lyon rarely does very well behind Man City. Pep Guardiola wants Aymeric Laporte to be more productive and he and Fernandinho are likely to line up together at the back of the plant. Laporte will line up to the left and Memphis will start on the right side of Lyon’s center forwards, so it will be a war to watch. Laporte has elegance, but its speed is called into question and if the City leaves it exposed at halftime, Memphis can take advantage of those situations.

Premier League transfers will accumulate during the summer months and here you will find all donations from the 20 Premier League clubs before the 2020-21 season.

[VIDEO: Best of the Premier League]

The Premier League move-out window runs from July 27 to October 5 in the summer, as the shortened low season means there is already a wave of action and the maximum clubs will need their groups to be attended before the 2020-21 season begins on September 12.

Since clubs are less than 40 days before the start of the new season, one would think that the president, sports managers and coaches would be very busy right now, as they will be out to do their business early. But we all know that when it comes to transfers to the Premier League, clubs can’t stay out of a deadline.

In the news of the last play, Kai Havertz at Chelsea, however, heads towards the end of the match, while Aaron Ramsey is on the loose to leave Juventus.

[VIDEO: Best of the Premier League]

Starting in west London, Kai Havertz in Chelsea can be shown as RMC Sport’s report that the Blues have signed a five-year contract with Bayer star Leverkusen and Germany.

According to the report, Chelsea will now negotiate the $117 million move payment with Leverkusen and pay it in several installments.

Havertz, 21, scored with Leverkusen in their 2–1 loss in the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals to Inter Milan on Monday and this appears to be their last match for Bayer. Kai Havertz at Chelsea can now move on to the next level, with the Bundesliga club in the past noting that they need to finish their season before discussing a move.

Our Sky Sports partners have also stated that Havertz has made it clear that he needs to point out the “project” that Frank Lampard is building, with Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech already pointing out their attack.

As Havertz approaches Chelsea, Lampard will now focus on defensive reinforcements. Chelsea president Bruce Buck said Lampard’s first season at Chelsea had been ‘very successful’ but with no defensive reinforcements this summer, Chelsea would do very well until their fourth Premier League position in 2019-20.

Havertz, Ziyech and Werner will make their attack and all the opportunities created through Christian Pulisic and Co., and as soon as new defenders arrive, Chelsea will continue to move in the right direction.

As for Turin, it has been reported that Aaron Ramsey is on the loose to leave Juventus.

Juve’s new boss, Andrea Pirlo, reportedly hired Ramsey, 29, to move in with Sami Khedira, Blaise Matuidi (who appears to be heading to Inter Miami at MLS), Gonzalo Higuain, Daniele Rugani and Mattia De Sciglio.

Ramsey only made it to Juve last summer after 11 years at Arsenal, but the Welshman fought for a few minutes and is one of the Juve winners with almost $330,000 a week.

It is the idea that several Premier League clubs will be interested in signing Ramsey, however, the central midfielder on a four-year juve contract, it is very likely that he will leave the Serie A champions alone on loan that on a permanent basis.

Ramsey left Arsenal elegantly and is still praised by his fans, and if Mikel Arteta can’t make any other transfer agreements for Dani Ceballos, might a transfer make sense for Ramsey? Stranger things have happened and a player of Ramsey’s quality, if he were on loan, would mean that many clubs in the Premier League and across Europe would like to point him out. As long as you can stay fit, the timing of your racing from the centre of the field and your quality with the ball are precisely what Arsenal needs. He’s building his tenacity under Arteta, but he might.
