Southampton is celebrating its 135th anniversary with some taste and, after introducing new old-fashioned uniforms for the 2020-21 season, have been a huge hit with fans.
The Premier League team unveiled their new home and third jersey this month, with a nod to their formation in 1885 as the Young Men’s Association of the Church of St. Mary of England. Fun fact: the church of Santa Maria, where they were founded in 1885, is a few hundred meters from his house in the st. Mary’s Stadium.
More important points have come in the new uniform, with pre-sales numbers that leave the Premier League club pleasantly surprised.
Southampton’s new uniforms “attract an unprecedented degree of pre-sales orders and set it to be the ultimate pre-sale team success ever registered for the club.” The South Coast club added that the new house uniform will be wearing for the first time when it welcomes Sheffield United on Sunday at St Mary’s Stadium (start time, 11 a.m. ET and watch NBCSports.com online) in their last game of the season.

Southampton’s new kits are manufactured through the US company Under Armour, its longtime partner, and the house jersey is an all-red T-shirt with a white diagonal belt and the third kit is a white T-shirt with a red diagonal belt.
The design of the diagonal belt will pay homage to Southampton’s original uniforms in 1885, when players wore white jerseys and then had a red belt to put on their shoulders.
Usually Southampton plays with red and white stripes, however, this replacement is a great hat to its beyond and have done anything for its 125th anniversary.
Southampton FC marketing manager Charlie Read explained the new uniform and how it aligns with the taste of wasted play on the Ralph Hasenhuttl field. We all saw him in his heroic 1-0 win over Man City recently.
“As we celebrate the 135th anniversary of Southampton Football Club, players, staff and enthusiasts are proud not to forget our rich history, and that’s why the new kit features the iconic belt design that first decorated Southampton shirts in 1885,” Read said. “We have had a fighting spirit and we are proud of it, so we could not think of a better way to commemorate the 135th anniversary of the club than by reminding our enthusiasts of the many times we have challenged opportunities in our entire rich history. “

The Spurs point to Hojbjerg: Tottenham Hotspur announced tuesday the capture of Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who would get a small payout in return, as right-back Kyle Walker-Peters in return.

Hojbjerg, 25, had been closely associated with a move to Tottenham in recent weeks, as Jose Mourinho rebuilt after finishing sixth place in his first (partial) season at the club. He joined the Spurs after four seasons in Southampton, where he proved to be a reliable ball winner, whatever the Spurs desperately have for some time.
Hojbjerg’s adjustment in midfield deserves to be offering Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele, as long as he stays at the club during the summer play window, all the defensive canopy needed to improve matches on the opposite side of the field. The Premier League move-out window runs from July 27 to October 5 in the summer, as the shortened low season means there is already a wave of action and the maximum clubs will need their groups to be attended before the 2020-21 season begins on September 12.
Since clubs are less than 40 days before the start of the new season, one would think that the president, sports managers and coaches would be very busy right now, as they will be out to do their business early. But we all know that when it comes to transfers to the Premier League, clubs can’t stay out of a deadline.

Ramsey only made it to Juve last summer after 11 years at Arsenal, but the Welshman fought for a few minutes and is one of the Juve winners with almost $330,000 a week.
It is the idea that several Premier League clubs will be interested in signing Ramsey, however, the central midfielder on a four-year juve contract, it is very likely that he will leave the Serie A champions alone on loan that on a permanent basis.
Ramsey left Arsenal elegantly and is still praised by his fans, and if Mikel Arteta can’t make any other transfer agreements for Dani Ceballos, might a transfer make sense for Ramsey? Stranger things have happened and a player of Ramsey’s quality, if he were on loan, would mean that many clubs in the Premier League and across Europe would like to point him out. As long as you can stay fit, the timing of your racing from the centre of the field and your quality with the ball are precisely what Arsenal needs.
