Player announces he’s leaving Tottenham Hotspur, defender also appears to be going

Michel Vorm has announced on Twitter that he is leaving Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Vorm has posted a message on the social networking site stating that he will miss everyone at Spurs.

The Dutch goalkeeper is out of contract at the North London outfit now that the season has come to an end.

Defender Jan Vertonghen is also leaving Spurs, with striker Harry Kane and midfielder Harry Winks both confirming his exit on Instagram.

The Belgium international central defender is also out of contract at Tottenham.

Meanwhile, former Tottenham star Graham Roberts has posted a message for Vorm on Twitter.

Disappointing season

Tottenham have finished sixth in the Premier League table this season with 59 points from 38 matches.

Jose Mourinho’s side will play in the Europa League next season and not in the Champions League.

The 2019-20 campaign has been a disappointing one for Spurs, especially considering that they reached the final of the Champions League last season and also finished in the top four.

Perhaps Spurs will have a better season in 2020-21 if they make a few good signings in the summer transfer window.
