Playmaker says he still loves Tottenham, despite getting dumped last summer

Josh Onomah, a former Tottenham Hotspur player, has said he still loves the club and is now looking to Arsenal on matchday one with Fulham.

Speaking to the Fulham website, the Tottenham academy graduate anticipated his showdown with the Gunners.

And getting all 3 problems will mean more for Onomah than the maximum for Fulham, as he still has expensive Tottenham in his heart.

“It’s smart to look at Arsenal,” he said.

“I was at Spurs for over 14 years and obviously I grew up having a lot of love for the club, so betting on Arsenal, from my youth to the first team, has been a wonderful game.

Onomah has been highly rated at the Spurs, but never achieved first-team qualification.

The midfielder played 32 games for Tottenham’s first team in years, before leaving for Fulham last summer.

Since moving to Craven Cottage, Onomah began to show his talents, and they were fully on display towards the end of the season.

Onomah, one of Fulham’s star men in the play-off campaign, having returned to the Premier League the first time.

And Arsenal will want to be on their feet on opening day as they seek to prevent a disruption from occurring.
