Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho’s fight may not have been over yet.
In other news, an Arsenal veteran would not be wanted at Juventus and could return to the Premier League.

AARON RAMSEY EYES PREMIER LEAGUE RETURNS
Aaron Ramsey could leave Juventus this summer, with Serie A champions in position to pay attention to the midfield’s offers, according to Sky Italy.
The Wales national joined Juventus from Arsenal for a move loose last summer after 11 years at the Emirates Stadium on a contract of 250,000 euros per week (A$455,000).
Selling to Ramsey is a possibility, but not a precedent for Juventus’ new head coach Andrea Pirlo, who appointed Maurizio Sarri as a replacement this week.
Ramsey scored 4 goals in 35 appearances in a long 2019/20 crusade in which Juventus won their ninth consecutive Serie A name and 36 in its 122-year history.
The 29-year-old, who has been connected with a return to the Premier League, still has three years of contract left.
“I think his stay in Turin may come to an end, but I don’t think he’s sure he’ll leave Juventus,” Said Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
“The scenario is that Juve will have to reduce its costs, you will have to reduce your wage bill. The easiest way to do that would be to sell Cristiano Ronaldo, but it doesn’t look like this is happening.”
“Blaise Matuidi deserves to join the INTER Miami club of the MLS, while it seems that Sami Khedira will leave just like Gonzalo Higuain. Aaron Ramsey is another player who could leave. Sky Italy tells us it’s an option, but not a precedent for the Juve to sell this summer.
“He’s a player, he won the name with Juventus, and if they wanted to sell it, I’m sure a lot of clubs would be interested in signing him this summer.”
SPURS MAKE FIRST SUMMER SIGN
Tottenham has finished signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton.
The Danish midfielder signed a five-year contract after completing a Monday and becomes Jose Mourinho’s first summer signing, coming in for about 15 million pounds plus bonuses.
Hojbjerg played 134 games for Southampton after signing for Bayern Munich in 2016, with Dane Saints captain before being sacked as captain in June, when he showed a preference for leaving the club.
“How vital for me is that I sought to play in a club where I can see myself for many years, and Tottenham is the right one,” Hojbjerg told the club’s website.
“I am very proud, very happy, excited. I think the club has a long career and I was looking very much to be a part of it.”
“Spurs have players, a manager, a setup.
“I feel lucky and proud to be a part of it, and I need to give it my all, but I also need to be very knowledgeable, push to take the next step, maintaining that consistency.
According to Lyall of Sky Sports, Thomas Mourinho went after Hojbjerg to play a very express role within the Spurs.
“Jose Mourinho is for a new midfielder, what he calls ‘positional’, because Eric Dier’s attempts to adapt to the post have not been successful and he has been transferred to the position of centre-back,” he wrote.
Mourinho likes to play a single ‘pivot’ in midfield, think of Claude Makelele at Chelsea, who will play the side four reliably and consistently.
“Hojbjerg is this specialist; ideal for the role and, at the same time, young but still very experienced in the big clubs and abroad. For 15 million pounds, it may provide a smart component of Spurs and Mourinho affairs.
THE UNITED “SMART GAME” CAN PLAY SANCHO PURSUIT
Borussia Dortmund may have categorically blocked any chance of Jadon Sancho betting on Manchester United, but the Red Devils don’t give up.
“Manchester United has renounced this agreement,” Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol wrote.
“They have not yet made an offering for him, however, it is no secret that he is their number one target this summer.
“Many other people are looking to find out why they haven’t made an offer yet even though Borussia Dortmund set this deadline that United ignored.
“The window will remain open for two months and United is making a smart game.
“They know that Jadon Sancho needs to come to United and they know that no other club has the finances right now to close the deal, so maybe they’re just waiting for their moment and will act when it suits them, that when it suits them.” Dortmund or anyone else.
However, Solhekol admits that everything went as planned.
That said, United is a little frustrated with the way things have gone because Dortmund sought them out to deal with those two agents [Sancho’s agent, Emeka Obasi, and Marco Lichtsteiner, brother of former Arsenal defender Stephan] and not make a deal. with the club. The deal may have been much smoother, but now is not the time to panic yet. “
WALKER-PETERS AT THE BRINK OF TOTTENHAM DEPARTURE
The New Saints boy, Kyle Walker-Peters, has revealed that his progression with Ralph Hasenhuttl in his loan era last season was the main thing in his move to St Mary’s on a permanent contract.
Walker-Peters said: “I am very happy to have signed here. The last few months on loan have been wonderful to me and also a wonderful laugh. I enjoyed my football, the atmosphere here and also the taste of the game.
“The club adapts to the way I play and I hope others have noticed it in the last month of the season.
“I feel like I’ve grown the time I’m here, and it’s also a great component of the lack of permanence.
“Obviously, this is a club that has a reputation as young players and, personally, I discovered that it is very useful to paint under the direction of the coach, with its concepts about the game and what it expects of you as an individual.
“I think the way we end the season also gives us genuine optimism about where we’re going, and it’s a smart position to continue to expand as a player and make the most of what I have.”
