Head coach Ed Orgeron said the first thing the team should do is not overreact to the first game of the season: the Tigers want to locate power and game creators before the first game on the way to LSU as opposed to Vanderbilt on Saturday.
“First of all, stay together, don’t panic and in everyone else, number one. It’s from me,” Orgeron said Monday. We’re not going to replace anything radical, but you know what, we have to harden some things, we want to play with more energy. We have to play harder, we have to play. We want to exercise better. They’re all things that get away from you when you win. Hey, championship’s over. It’s a new season, a new team and we’ve been given something new, and now we know it.
“Hopefully our guys can start from day one, focus on this game with Vanderbilt. This is my job, make this team as smart as possible and bet through the popular performance of LSU, and evidently Saturday. the night a great sadness for me and everyone, and I feel it. “
