Another national store appears to have retired from Hull.

Ann Summers, who only opened her store on Jameson Street in 2018, closed and also got rid of the company’s website.

While dozens of Ann Summers outlets across the UK have reopened, adding Leeds and York, some have not yet received customers.

The full list can be found on your online page indicating whether they are open, opened soon, or temporarily closed: Hull is nowhere to be found.

The underwear store moved out of its former home in Whitefriargate less than two years ago, but now it turns out to be after a rental billboard also installed above the storefront.

The store, which is next to the O2 store, has been closed for several weeks and appears to have ended the company’s agreement with the city.

This comes after Clintons and Burger King withdrew from the Prospect Center, the latter the last remaining salesman in the first-floor food court.

Carphone Warehouse outlets in Hull were a small number of 531 nationwide that were permanently closed a few months ago.

Frankie and Benny of the city have also put an end to radical adjustments in the city’s food and retail sector, leaving a very different one in blocking street poles.

Hull Live has contacted Ann Summers for comment.
