Porto hoists the rainbow flag

The Mayor of Porto has announced that the façade of the City Hall will be illuminated, from 16 to 17 May, with the rainbow flag on the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.

The municipality will also raise the LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex) flag on a pole placed in front of the building, as happened last year, Rui Moreira said.

The mayor also said he had allowed LGBTI pride marches to take place in Largo Amor de Perdição, in the city center, and in the gardens of Parque da Pasteleira.

The Porto LGBTI Pride March is a birthday party and a fight for equality for the LGBTI community, organized in Porto since 2006.

Yes, Portugal, and also Europe, will have to celebrate non-breeders as if they needed a hole in their heads.
