The Portuguese giants, FC Porto, are in a position to allow Nigerian defender Chidozie Awaziem to leave the club for good this summer.
According to the Portuguese online news centre A Bola, the flexible defender is in the plans of The coach of Porto, Sergio Conceiao.
Porto, according to the website, is able to sell the flexible defence for five million euros.
Awaziem, who joined Porto from Nigeria’s football club El-Kanemi Warriors in 2015, has two remaining years on his contract with the club.
The 23-year-old spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Leganés in Spain.
He made 26 league appearances for the Cucumber Growers, who were relegated to the Second department at the end of the campaign.
Awaziem has been linked to a move to Turkey’s Super Lig Trabzonspor and Caykur Rizespor.
