MANCHESTER CITY have an update on their £300m stadium expansion.
The paintings are under a task that will see the Etihad stadium a position of 61,470 positions.
Originally built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games, it was moved from Maine Road to the Manchester City Stadium a year later.
It currently has a capacity of 53,600 people and is the seventh largest stadium in England.
Ambitious projects allow this capacity to exceed 60,000 points.
The City is adding a new huge level to its northern tribune, and the extension will open for the 2025/26 season.
The renovation will see the create of an incredible Sky Bar, which will have premium seating for 450.
In addition to the development in the soil, there are a lot of new spaces created in renovations.
City are building a new City Square Fanzone, club museum, City Store, and a mammoth 400-bed hotel.
These new projects will take a little longer and are expected to take a little longer by the end of 2026.

City and infrastructure director Ed Dalton said: “The paintings are progressing at a steady pace.
“The task is divided into 4 other sections.
“We have the North Stand development, the hotel, a shopping wing and the covered area for fans of City Square.
“During the winter months we finish all earthworks.
“We did as many paintings as we could imagine during the closed season to minimize fan disruptions. “
Man City continues the season as favorites to regain the Premier League name; However, there is an elephant in the room that threatens to topple the Etihad giants.
Martin Lipton of Sensport discusses what in the coming months can sustain with Shaun Custis Sportsarray.
Custis: So the big question – will there be a resolution this season?
Lipton: Yes…. probably! It will take at least a month to go through the evidence. So I suspect around March, April time, we will get a result. But that’s where it starts to get tricky.
Custis: Why is that?
Lipton: If the result is in the favor of the city, it is the finish of the matter. They will be erased. They will not have to face any punishment.
But if City are found guilty, these will be the heaviest penalties ever imposed by the Premier League.
I suspect that if they are found guilty they will be expelled from the League or with the deduction of big issues and a big fine so they will be in the Premier League next season.

The city expanded the Etihad in 2014.
They added a third level to the South stand, expanding from 47,400 to 55,100.
City also announced plans to “create a legacy through new avenues for the next generation of Manchester City enthusiasts to enjoy the games. “
This means that the club will reserve a number of tickets for enthusiasts under the age of 21.
Meanwhile, neighbours United received a boost in their bid to build a £2billion, 100,000-seater stadium after the government backed the proposed project.
