Brentford 2-2 Man City

Chelsea 2-2 Bournemouth

West Ham 3-2 Fulham

Nott’m Forest 1-1 Liverpool

Having shown they can mix it up with the league leaders, Forest will grow in belief that they can secure a top-four finish this campaign.

They have games coming up that will expect to win and if any of their rivals falter, it could be some season for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

Nobody would have predicted it before a ball was kicked this season but now it is seeming a realistic prospect.

Liverpool face some difficult games ahead, basically away from home.

Trips to Brentford and Bournemouth will be disruptive encounters, as many other very sensible groups have discovered.

It remains to be seen if in the moves window, however, Slot will look to maintain its lead at the top.

Matz Sels played the role of man of the match for the hosts tonight, when interviewed on-screen via BT Sport, he remained humble:

In the first part I didn’t have much work. The last twenty minutes had many opportunities. I have to be there for those moments. We deserve a point, we have to continue playing on Sunday.

Newcastle welcome Wolves to St James’ Park and the stakes are now high for Eddie Howe’s side.

While Chelsea lose points against Bournemouth, three points will see the Magpies move up to fourth place in the table.

He hopes Alexander Isak has enough compatibility to lead the line opposite Wolves tomorrow.

Diogo Jota and Kostas Tsimikas combined for Liverpool’s equaliser, their manager was asked if had ever made a more effective substitution:

We all know that Jota can score a goal. We brought him in to score a goal and he did it in about twenty moments [after coming on]. Their goalkeeper had a purposeful game. Every time you have the ball you have to beat all 11 players. So difficult. That’s why I’m so pleased with our functionality right now.

Arne Slot’s men now have a seven-point lead at the top of the table.

Nott’m Forest move into second spot but Arsenal face Tottenham in a North London derby tomorrow.

They can get back within 4 numbers of Liverpool, but the league leaders will then have one game less.

Alexis Mac Allister is in fine form back for the Reds tonight.

He makes paintings that are not appreciated, but the Argentine foreigner sets very high standards for himself and his companions.

Despite picking up an important point, he was still disappointed that they did not get the win, considering all they created after the interval.

He is integral to this Liverpool team and is the engine room of their midfield.

In the 78th minute, Manchester City took the lead in the capital by two to nil.

It looked like they were going to get their fifth consecutive win in all competitions.

However, they took their foot off the gas and allowed Brentford into the game.

After Wissa scored a goal, Norgaard equalized deep into stoppage time and rescued a point for Thomas Frank’s team.

Pep Guardiola wants a vacation.

Matz Sels, signed for just £5m, is in good form for Nott’m Forest against a Liverpool side unbridled in the second half.

He made four sublime saves to deny the visitors and prevented Arne Slot’s side from turning this game on its head.

If Forest manages to win the Champions League this season, they will have a role to play for the rest of the season.

Easily the man of the match in this game.

Forest controlled the first half and maintained a one goal lead thanks to Chris Wood’s 13th goal of the season.

But a 66th-minute substitution from Liverpool boss Arne Slot paid dividends straight away.

He sent on Diogo Jota and with his first touch he equalized with a close header after a cross from his compatriot Kostas Tsimikas.

Liverpool dominated the final minutes and Forest keeper Matz Sels made three crucial saves to keep out sub Diogo Jota – who made the difference for Arne Slot when he came on after 66 minutes – and then Mo Salah.

In added time, the Belgian goalkeeper sent Cody Gakpo’s shot just past the post.

Forest defender Ola Aina then denied Salah a clearance on the finish line as the Forest target lived a charming life.

Impressive things, even honors.

Forest edged the first-half in this game and went into the interval with a slender lead.

Liverpool looked like a completely different team in the second half and Sels needed four very good saves to secure his team a point in this game.

It was a header from Jota for the Reds that ensured they didn’t suffer their second defeat of the season against the only other team to beat them in the Premier League.

90 3. Sels makes a very good save, this time from Gakpo.

The shot went between a wall of players, so he saw it late, but he managed to deflect it around the post.

There are still 4 more minutes left.

Graham Potter achieves his first victory at West Ham as manager in front of his own fans.

Fulham finished nervously with two from Iwobi.

It’s a vital win for the Hammers, who are desperate to move away from the bottom 3 in the table.

THOMAS TUCHEL turns up as England boss and forgotten man Reece James upstages his younger team mates by smashing home and injury time equaliser.

But there is no glory for Chelsea. They froze again.

Bournemouth continue to defy gravity and logic and came so close to winning.

88. Nott’m Forest will have Sels to thank for anything they get from this game.

Salah looks to shoot into the area, turning towards the most sensitive corner, but the goalkeeper saves with the tip of his finger to deny him.

From the corner obtained, he cleared part and Salah without delay scored a volley.

He catches it but Aina pushes him out of the line.

83. Nuno Espirito Santo will now have to change tactics.

They have played counter-attacking football all game but were looking to make some changes to shut up shop when one-nil up.

Now he needs to bring on some fresh legs in attack to see if they can still win this game.

Pep Guardiola will be satisfied tonight.

His side threw away a two-goal lead to allow The Bees to salvage a point from this game.

This will not damage Thomas Frank’s confidence as he regains his Premier League form.

77. Liverpool take the lead at the City Ground.

When the ball enters the area, Jota takes a fierce shot towards goal, Sels makes a block and Aina clears it off the line.

Now it’s a game and it could happen either way.

Trent Alexander-Arnold had a moment of anxiety when he gave the impression of grabbing Elliot Anderson in the face.

But referee Chris Kavanagh felt that a verbal exchange was sufficient and Alexander-Arnold seemed relieved.

Space was sent to Diogo Jota and Kostas Tsimikas, and the effect was immediate.

Tsimikas sent a ball and Jota took advantage of a rare mistake in defense to equalize with a header from close range.

Jota then brought a save out of Forest keeper Matz Sels and Liverpool now have a new lease of life.

Iraola will be gutted to let victory slip through their fingers deep into added time.

As a neutral, you would have to say that The Blues deserved something from this game.

Things are still winding down for Chelsea, but Bournemouth have extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to nine games.

90 5. In added time, Chelsea won a free kick.

Everyone expects Palmer to hit him, James bends him around the wall and into the back corner.

Stamford Bridge erupts as he wheels away in celebration.

66. An unlikely goal from the visitors.

Tsimikas swings a corner into the box and Jota heads home to equalise for the league leaders.

With just over twenty minutes remaining, we now have a game on our hands at the City Ground.
