President ‘Eferin was inspired by Portugal’s achievements

UEFA President Aleksander ‘eferin’ is in Lisbon this week as the UEFA Champions League peaks.

UEFA President Aleksander ‘Eferin’ praised the paintings of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) by hosting the UEFA Champions League final in Lisbon this week.

The first European club festival will end on Sunday in the Portuguese capital when Paris faces Bayern at Estedio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, following an exciting series of quarter-final and semi-final matches.

Mr. Oeferin, who was accompanied during his stopover at the “Cidade do Futebol” in Lisbon through Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa and FPF President Fernando Gomes, was inspired by the teamwork and spirit of solidarity that made the festival organization imagined in such a short time.

“First of all, it’s a very complicated scenario in Europe and around the world,” he said. “At the moment, everything is going very well thanks to the correct paintings of the Portuguese Football Federation and the Portuguese government.”

Prime Minister Costa also spoke of the importance of hosting the Champions League for Portugal’s image. “This is one of the most productive tests in Portugal, which is the safest country to host such a festival at such a dramatic time for the world due to the COVID-19 crisis,” he said. “Since this decision, we have already had several other events, especially in motorsport and motorcycling, which have also selected Portugal to bring out their activity.”

During the visit, Mr. Eferin was able to compare the new headquarters of the FPF, which not only offers educational services and a ‘House two Athletes’ (House of Athletes) for national teams, but also houses the organization’s staff and includes press studios for Channel 11Array the multimedia platform and tv channel created through the FPF.

“It’s an impressive building, ” said Mr. Eeferin. “When you see this school, you see that the good luck of Portuguese football is not a coincidence.
