Stefano Pioli is expected to call up Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud in the lineup when AC Milan face Slavia Prague in the Europa League on Thursday.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via Pianeta Milan), the Milan coach will take the match very seriously despite the two-goal advantage from the first leg.
The Europa League is Milan’s only chance to win titles and may be what helps keep Pioli in the rhythm for another season, and a quarter-final position is within reach.
The Milan match was won 4-2 through the Rossoneri, the hole deserved to have been much bigger given that the Czech team was down to 10 players for more than one part of the match.
Mike Maignan will be in goal, with Davide Calabria at right-back and two Malick Thiaws, Fikayo Tomori and Simon Kjaer at centre-back and Theo Hernandez at left-back.
Midfielders Ismael Bennacer and Tijjani Reijnders are expected to stay, Yacine Adli is on the bench. Leao and Giroud will form the same quartet as always with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic also playing.
Probable Milan Slavia Prague lineup (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Hernandez; Reijnders, Bennacer; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Giroud.
