In an NBA draft with few certainties, Dayton ahead of Obi Toppin may be the safest option in elegance and an early selection in October.
The initial order of 2020 was established with the lottery on Thursday, with the Minnesota Timberwolves winning the first overall pick, followed by the Golden State Warriors and then the Charlotte Hornets. While each of these groups can use Toppin, we’re more likely to see more sensitive players like LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, James Wiseman and Killian Hayes leaving the board with the first selections.

Toppin has gone from being an unranked prospect to a men’s basketball player at school in a few years. He finished the 2019–20 season with an average of 20.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals before winning the Naismith and Wooden awards as the country’s player.
