The battle of the nouveau riche can be aptly called the oil company. Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, champions at National Point last season, may have hoped to go through qualification in the new phase of the Champions League and yet anything still sailed.

PSG have just seven numbers from their first six games at this festival, while their warring parties have eight. However, they are languishing at the back of the play-off places and qualification for the next phase is one conclusion. The hosts, at least, run. Far with the name domestically, however, City are in fifth position on the Premier League table with qualification for next season’s Champions League and by no means.
It has been a maximum season for Pep Guardiola’s side. Each time, it turns out that they have turned the corner, some other setback. In 2025, the city has largely returned to winning tactics and yet they still showed a two-goal lead opposite Brentford last week, despite being 2-0 down with just 8 minutes. It was hard not to forget the game opposite Feyenoord in November when City launched a three-goal lead in the latter stages. For the first time in many years, Guardiola is under stress and his team looks fragile.
Rodri remains for the visitors, while Oscar Bobb is back in education when he returns to competitive action. Nathan Ake and John Stones appeared in the 6-0 demolition of Ipswich at the weekend, but Ruben Dias is again compatible.
Napoli’s new PSG signing, Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, has not registered in time to participate, while Marquinhos will be almost absent due to injuries.

PSG 2-2 Manchester City
It seems like a very important game for either group. They are not expected to fight for their Champions League lives in the penultimate game of the league scene and yet here we are. City has indeed been larger in 2025, some of the fragile old ones are still evident. Translated nationally. This can be a harvest as either group can desperately do with a win and probably wouldn’t settle for a draw. Parisians will be invited through their enthusiasts, however, there is a smart chance that it will be established. Of enthusiasts will leave the stadium feeling like it’s a missed opportunity for league play.
