Kylian Mbappe literally led the way by scoring his 245th career goal at Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night to put his team in the driver’s seat against Real Sociedad in the UEFA Champions League.
PSG won 2-0 in the first leg of this eighth final in France last month.
Mbappe then made it 3-0 on aggregate by giving PSG a 1-0 lead just 15 minutes into Tuesday’s second leg in Spain.
Fans at San Sebastian’s Anoeta stadium were hoping to see their team come from behind in the second leg before Mbappe’s goal visibly deflated them.
The fans attacking PSG in the first half were literally bouncing around until they came to an abrupt stop when Mbappe unleashed a fine shot that beat goalkeeper Alex Remiro from a tight angle.
Mbappé’s shot hit so hard that the net hit the post.

Mbappé had won the ball from a ball from Ousmane Dembele.
He picked up the pass in the corner of the penalty area, near the touchline, where he scored hard through defender Igor Zubeldia.
Mbappe then put on some good footwork to beat Zubeldia once or twice before locating the net in style.
Former Monaco star Mbappe has scored forty-five goals and provided 26 assists in 68 career appearances in the UCL.
