PSV Eindhoven director of football Earnie Stewart expects foreign American duo Sergiño Dest and Malik Tillman to remain at the club beyond the end of the season.
Both Tillman and Dest have played a role in PSV’s unbeaten run in the Eredivisie this season as they close in on their 25th Dutch title. Both men arrived at the club on a season-long loan, with Tillman signing from Bayern Munich and Dest from Barcelona.

The players have signed their deals, with attacking midfielder Tillman asking for 12. 5 million euros ($13. 6 million) and full-back Dest asking for 10 million euros, according to ESPN sources.
But for PSV to sign permanent contracts with players, the players themselves would have to be satisfied with dedicating their long career to the team.
Asked if he was looking for any of the players to sign with the club on permanent contracts, he told ESPN: “yes, I would say it’s fair. That’s more than fair. Both players are players who have done things for PSV Eindhoven and yes. “I can say that we expect either player to stay. “
Dest told ESPN that all plans for the summer and beyond are for his agent, but Stewart inspired with him.
“Knock on wood, his frame is designed for high-performance sports and he can do maximum amazing things,” Stewart said.
“He’s an attacking full-back who’s helping us in the way we need to play, moving up and down the touchline like him.
“I think it’s important for him to stay at a club longer and then, you know, make sure he grows more and more. And then once he joins those bigger clubs that he’s already been a part of, he goes there as a pillar.
Tillman, who has six goals and nine assists for PSV, is enjoying life in Eindhoven and would be satisfied beyond the summer.
“It’s more for the clubs than for me. I’d be happy if I stayed, but yes. It’s up to Bayern and PSV,” Tillman told ESPN.
Stewart has been inspired by Tillman’s progression at the club.
“He’s a special player, special in every single way,” Stewart said of Tillman.
“Playing in tight spaces, playing one-on-one. Their link game is excellent. Then, what a lot of people don’t know is his defensive paint pace and how many balls he takes away from others in midfield. That’s it’s weird. His progression has been fantastic.
