PSV vs Borussia Dortmund lineups: team news shown, XI planned and news shown for today

Donyell Malen may just start facing his former Borussia Dortmund team against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League tonight.

The Germans cross the border into the south of the Netherlands for a round of 16 first leg after dominating a difficult organisation that included Newcastle, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain in the early part of the campaign.

Since then, Borussia have bolstered their ranks and Premier League loanees Ian Maatsen and Jadon Sancho are expected to start.

However, Sebastien Haller will be available due to an ankle injury, as well as Ramy Bensebaini, Karim Adeyemi and Felix Nmecha.

Malen was left on the bench for this weekend’s draw in Wolfsburg after suffering a knee problem but, if fit, he is expected to start in Holland ahead of Marco Reus.

PSV are unlikely to give Armel Bella-Kotchap his first chance since October despite returning from a shoulder injury.

A nagging hamstring issue is expected to keep Noa Lang out of the game.
