This afternoon, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard gave an update on his team’s fitness before his next meeting with Everton.
The Blues are expected to return to the domestic crash on Saturday night in a clash at Goodison Park with Carlo Ancelotti.
Chelsea, of course, will begin discussions with a temperament on the club’s field, amid a brilliant spell recently.
In the last outing of the capital, they tied 1-1 through Krasnodar on Tuesday, albeit in a negligible clash of the Champions League stage.
However, this has extended Lampard’s men’s undefeated streak to 14 featured matches in all competitions, as the club’s summer recruitment crusade begins to bear fruit.
Chelsea’s war parts this weekend, on the other hand, have entered an era of great concern in recent weeks.
At the back of an opening of the campaign, which saw many call the Merseysiders the real contenders for the four most sensitive, Ancelotti’s men have skated a lot since then on the upper steps of the Premier League.
In fact, Everton has controlled a victory in their last seven league games.
As such, Chelsea will no doubt start the debates on Saturday night, convinced of winning all three points, a result that would return retirees to the most sensible part of the Premier League.
And, as mentioned above, before his team’s last outing, Frank Lampard held his last press conference this afternoon.
The head of the Blues was based on a variety of topics that the media exchanged, the most notable of which surrounded the latest news about the physical condition of the club’s stars.
Lampard, in turn, aimed at the existing well-being of a trio of key strikers, in the form of Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech.
First, the Englishman showed that the last pair stayed away, that neither of them will play a role in Goodison in just over 48 hours.
Pulisic, on the other hand, deserves to be available, has felt some discomfort in the hamstrings following Chelsea’s victory over Leeds last weekend:
