Tottenham ended their pre-season with a 2-0 win over QPR at Loftus Road.
Ange Postecoglou named an opposing championship team after their 5-1 road win against the Heat last week. Heung-min Son, Pedro Porro, Timo Werner and Yves Bissouma were among the starters in west London, but they had to work for victory.
Newcomers Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall also started again, but Postecoglou was dealt a heavy blow when the former arrived, with the midfielder sent off in the first half.
It wasn’t until five minutes before the break that Spurs discovered their breakthrough, with Bissouma making a great one-two with Dejan Kulusevski before getting around the goalkeeper with a bit of luck. Until then, the hosts looked very damaging at half-time.
QPR also looked max likely in the second phase amid a series of Spurs changes, but Dane Scarlett finally broke in the second minute after coming in.
