Ralf Rangnick has terminated his contract at Red Bull Leipzig 8 days after signing a new two-year contract with the club.
Rangnick has been sporting director of Leipzig and the dual club Salzburg since June 2012 and has played a key role in the discovery of some of the young players in Europe.
But the German is now willing to return to training, having built his reputation in periods of success at the helm of Schalke and Hoffenheim before his coaching position.
