The 22-year-old, who signed for the English Premier League side in 2021, becomes Michael Beale’s fifth signing in the summer transfer window following the arrivals of Kieran Dowell, Jack Butland, Dujon Sterling and Sam Lammers.
An exciting striker, Sima began his career in his home country of Senegal before a spell in France with Thonon Evian led him to sign for FC Taborsko on the Czech side.
His performances in the Czech National Football League marked those of Slavia Prague, which he joined in 2020. Sima won the Czech Premier League name in the 2020/21 season and won the league’s Young Player of the Year award.
Since his arrival at Brighton, the Senegalese has been on loan in the English league with Stoke City and more recently in Ligue 1 with Angers.
