Treviño gave the impression in a couple of games for the Rangers at the start of the season before deciding on the team’s side site. It will be necessary as a protective net with Robinson Chirinos with a sprained ankle. Jeff Mathis is expected to get most of the starts on the plate until Chirinos returns.
