The result sees Light Blues now 11 emit the Premier League leaders to keep their hopes of narrow name alive, with a strident atmosphere thanks to a strident environment in Ibrox.
Relive the IBROX action below:
“It wasn’t a great performance. We made too many mistakes, especially in the first half with the ball. Who invited the pressure? We got trapped in too many areas.
“From there, 1-0, it gave the stadium a boost. The Rangers were the bigger team today. It’s very different from us. We weren’t competitive enough without the ball. Too many duels [lost] and moments where They were then able to get out of the pressure. On the ball, it is too slow.
“The adjustment was a disappointment. I don’t know if the 14-point hole took the lead, it shouldn’t, although maybe subconsciously it can. We didn’t play well and Rangers deserved to win.
“It’s one of the days. They are not robots. The power in the stadium, they were looking to achieve something, they had not defeated us and they are so far back in the league, so there are several reasons for that.
“I am so proud to be captain today. But I am even prouder of the performance, the three goals. I am happy for the fans because they deserved it. It was just a good afternoon.
“I learned a lot while I was at [James Tavernier] since my arrival here. I was just looking to be myself. I knew that as a team, we were in a position for the adjustment and we showed it.
“It feels good. You need to win derbies. Is it a step forward for us? Indeed. We know it’s 3 problems, but we’re going to start in 3 days.
“It’s a smart game for us. You can start very well and finish badly, but we were consistent. In the future, we have to be consistent for 90 minutes. “
Celtic tried 4 shots in the game, the lowest in general in a single game in the Scottish prime minister this season.
The former Celtic manager told Sky Sports: “Today there is nothing about Celtic. It’s flat.
“Second most productive in everything. He gave up as much ground and 24 shots [against] in the game. It’s hard to criticize this team, but they were horrible. They offered nothing.
