Very good, how about this to impress?
Rangers had 24 shots against Celtic, which is the most their rivals have faced in a league game since records began, while The Bhoys only managed four shots, the least they have had in a league match since records began.
There is much to go to the rangers. This is even more notable since they had 39% of the ballarray.

Speaking to Sky Sports:
He also adds that he hopes that his father, the legendary star Gheorge, who was in the stands, will be able to come more after seeing this victory.

Chris Sutton, co-host of Mail Sport podcast It’s All Kicking Off!, shared his quick reaction on X.

It is the best start of the new year for the Rangers and deserves to be enjoyed with style, but there is an sobering event.
Rangers are still 11 points behind Celtic. At mid-season, the gap is not insurmountable, but they have to keep going.
It’s hard to see where Celtic’s next defeat will come from, but at least Rangers have denied them the unbeaten record of this league crusade and avenged their breakup in September.
By Luke Power
Well, we resume our breath from that one.
Remarkably, this is the second time Brendan Rodgers has lost to Rangers in 21 games. They have won 16. Celtic have had the advantage in the Old Firm in recent history.
Drink it up, Rangers fans. These moments have no place, so those days.

The mass rangers win !!
A huge congratulations to Clément and his team, who came in as underdogs and ended up becoming champions with a 3-0 victory!
A surprise score and a surprise game. Terrible Celtic and Rangers took full advantage.
By Tum Balogun
You don’t want to waste time, Phillippe. You are 3 draws! He elected to make even more adjustments before the final whistle. Hagi, Igamane and Raskin leave Cortes, Barron and served.
By Tum Balogun
Jefte earned a standing ovation from the fans when he replaced the young Fraser.
By TUM Balogun
Scary moment at Ibrox as the game is paused after a Celtic player is struck by an object thrown from the stands. Engels went down but thankfully has now risen and play has resumed.

Where does this come from?
Jefte bombs down the left flank and his deflected cross falls to the substitute Danilo who calmly slid the ball past a helpless Schmeichel. It’s an afternoon to forget for Rodgers’ side who have been second-best in every department.
By Tum Balogun
Brazilian striker Danilo replaces Bajami during the last 10 minutes of the crash.
By tum balogun
Igamane falls after doing all the hard work to get past Celtic’s defense. The Rangers were back in Schmeichel’s goal, but a frankly terrible play by the striker caused the movement to stall.
By tum balogun
Hatate is replaced through the club’s signing machines during the last 15 minutes of the match.

JUST WHAT THEY DESERVE!
The Rangers doubled their lead and it was the first Rangers goal for defenseman Robin Propper. Celtic’s mark in the corner, which led to the goal, shocking.
Hagi had a weak header from the penalty spot that was blocked over the line and fell to Propper who couldn’t miss. Ibrox bounces. The Rangers are in contention for the win.
By tum Balogun
Brendan Rodgers has figured it out enough. He made a triple replacement after the hour, with Idah, Valle and McCowan replacing Kyogo, Taylor and Bernardo.
By tum Balogun
The winger gets his revenge on Jefte after their clash in the first half. He lunged at the Rangers man after he had beaten him for pace down the line. SImple caution.
By Tum Balogun
Cerny takes up the task for the second time this afternoon and how big can it be?He won the ball unopposed to Schmeichel to beat. He formed it to complete it in the far corner, but opened it too wide and saw his efforts return from the foot of the post.
I should have scored.

Rangers have been warned. Kyogo produces a moment of magic which looked to have brought the visitors level. But the forward’s initial run came too soon and he was beyond the last defender by the time the pass was made.
It’s a real shame, because what he did after that was special. The striker took it on his chest and hooked it over Kelly and into the net. What a goal that would have been.
By tum balogun
Celtic is already looking better. Kyogo and Maeda took the ball in complex positions, forcing Sterling to face the danger. Nio Goalmouth Action to communicate mostly for the time being, however, all Rodgers said he turned out to have worked on.

Rodgers resists the temptation to make adjustments at halftime. It was the Rangers who started the second half. Will they be able to continue?

It’s been pretty dominant stuff from the home side in terms of shots. They’ll be disappointed to have only forced Schmeichel into one save.

There is a rapprochement between the skippers of the two groups, as the referee’s whistle at half-time blows in Obrox. Raskin earned the third yellow card of the match, while McGregor escaped what would have been his moment of the match.
Philippe Clement will be extremely cheerful by applying your team in those first forty -five minutes. His team has a well -deserved advantage and looks at all the adjustment of his opponents.
Celtic, meanwhile, wants to figure things out. As undeniable as that. They’ve been terrible for most of this part and they’re lucky to have one.
By Tum Balogun
Kelly makes a timely contribution right at the end of the half to preserve Rangers’ lead at the break. Celtic finally managed to get a delivery right and the ball fell to Kyoto on the edge of the box.
The Japanese star got a good connection on his half volley but Kelly stood up strong and palmed the effort away.
By Tum Balogun
The Brazilian draws Nicolas Kuhn’s blood from Celtic after a point in fact, he takes it right in front of the tactile judge. The Rangers defender was ousted through Kuhn but, perhaps unintentionally, threw his arm toward the attacker.
The medical staff are doing their best to stem the flow of blood. They’ll have time to work on him properly after the incoming free kick.
By Tum Balogun
Two more minutes until Rangers can take a lead back to the dressing room. Maybe I should be saying it’s two more minutes for them to find a deserved second. Surely Celtic can’t be this bad after the break?
By Tum Balogun
Carter-Vickers on Celtic’s rescue after Igamane played through a devastating bullet. The Rangers forward took enough time on which of the 3 characteristics he would place at halftime and having opted for the center diamond, his pass was so close to locating him.
Carter-Vikers, however, had concepts and timed a slide perfectly that eliminated the Rangers boy.
By Tum Balogun
The Celtic captain gets a stupid booking, in some other demonstration, in some other demonstration of how the champions are shaken. The Scotland foreigner is warned for holding his leg as Rangers attempted to take a quick free-kick. Let’s see if this happens again.
By Tum Balogun
Brendan Rodgers will be furious. Too many of his stars are making uncharacteristic mistakes. They’re getting bullied by Rangers and are perhaps fortunate to only be one goal down.
By tum balogun
Some brilliance in the centre of the park opens Celtic up and should have seen the hosts double their advantage. The goalscorer found his team-mate Cerny, who passed to an overlapping Yilmaz when he really should have taken it inside and tried his luck.
The move ended up breaking down but Clement will be pleased to see his side enjoy a period away from their own goal.
By tum Balogun
Very good, let’s go back to action. Celtic began to put pressure on its hosts in the last minutes. Their play passes last a little more, the passes achieve more in their player, but there has not yet a true goal opening.
A few minutes ago, Maeda stepped in from the left flank and attempted to fire a shot toward the far back corner, but it went wide of Kelly’s left post.
By Tum Balogun
Look who made the up north for the big match at Ibrox. The all-time leading scorer in the Premier League and former teammate of iconic Celtic Chris Sutton, Alan Shearer.
Newcastle legend turns out to be in a good mood. Until now, he has enjoyed an exciting game.
By Tum Balogun
The Rangers’ press has been exceptional so far in this match. Surely they cannot continue like this. This time it was the full-back Yilmaz who picked it up in a deep position and headed towards Celta’s area.
Unfortunately for the defender, he couldn’t catch his strike as smoothly as his teammate and his shot simple enough for Schmeichel to save.
By Tum Balogun
By Tum Balogun
Cerny almost doubled the advantage of the Rangers with a long -range effort that deviated in the crossbar of Schmeichel. The Danish seemed quite without blood about it, but it was very close.
By Tum Balogun
Rangers have managed a manic few minutes quite well since the goal. Celtic continue to look dangerous in attack but Clement will be pleased by how his side have managed their emotions after taking the lead.
They are the best first ten minutes.
By TUM Balogun
WHAT ABOUT THAT!
I have talked about Celtic’s elegance in attack, but Rangers have just shown that they have a lot of elegance. The home team intercepts a careless pass through midfield and it is Raskin who heads towards the Celtic defence.
He sends it back to Hagi, who passes at low altitude in Schmeichel. What a start. What noise is coming from Ibrox.
By Tum Balogun
The Rangers responded and forced to the Celtic defense in 3 blockages. They affirm a penalty, but none of Bajami’s efforts has caught a Celtic hand. Despite their defense injuries, they still constitute a risk in advance.
By Tum Balogun
I am about to say how far the Rangers began, how competitive they were from the first minute and, out of nowhere, Celtic advances the ball with two passes and a corner.
On the set piece, Rangers fortunately conceded when Maeda failed to connect with an incoming cross. The afternoon can be long for home fans.

Celtic is underway in Glasgow. I hope he’s smart.

Ibrox is silent to pay tribute to the lost lives in the Ibrox crisis of 1971. Impeccably observed by all in the stadium in the 54th anniversary of the tragedy.

The players are in the box in front of a packed Ibrox stadium. Rangers and Clement can’t lose this game, it doesn’t matter. You don’t envy the exhausted look Rodgers’ conquering Celtic aspect is about to take.

There is a lot of time for the end of the action in Ibrox. We have some photos of Liam Kelly, replacing Jack Butland, preparing for shock. It is a great day for the 28 -year -old, who disputes his second participation in the season championship.

It doesn’t make for pleasant reading Rangers fans. As we’ve mentioned, Celtic sit atop the standings with 50 points from 18 matches. Next come the Gers with 36, two more than the surprise package Aberdeen.
Closing a hole as big as this would be extraordinary, Rodgers’ Celtic has proven to be almost unstoppable forces over the years.
By Tum Balogun
They are in the preparation phase for this afternoon’s game with the possibility of advancing 17 points to their rivals. For everyone’s faces, I think they intend to do that precisely.

So, let’s take a deeper look at the injury issues plaguing the home side today. First-choice keeper Jack Butland misses out after being admitted to hospital with an internal bleed in his leg.
In another place, Captain James Tavernier, Neraysho Kasanwirjo and John Souttar will not be available. Leon Balogun, unrelated, is the issue of doubt.
For more information about this terrifying but earthly injury, take a look at the following story.

A service was held at the Ibrox Disaster Memorial ahead of today’s clash. Rangers manager Phillipe Clement, chief executive Patrick Stewart, Celtic chairman Peter Lawwell and many others have paid tribute to the 66 football enthusiasts who tragically died on the pitch during a meeting between the two. groups in 1971.
Today marks the anniversary of this terrible tragedy.

The Belgian coach has been under pressure this season for his team’s performances and, most importantly, their results. Clement arrived at Ibrox in October 2023 and has since faced Celtic six times without a win.
He came close to him late in the League Cup, when his team suffered an atrocious defeat in the aftermath 5-4 after a desirable 3-3 draw. Will today be the seventh lucky time? You have the impression that this is the case.

Here you have some photos of the local stars that arrive in Ibrox for this afternoon’s game. I see smiles! Obviously, some players enjoy the opportunity to surprise some today.

Hello and welcome to the policy via game email of the first traffic of the first company of 2025, the 444th in history, in fact. It’s fair to say it didn’t come at that time for the home team, who have just experienced a defeat and a draw in their last two games.
These effects saw Philippe Clement’s team lose 14 points to arch-rivals Celtic in the name race. This advantage is already unassailable, 17 cannot be accepted.
The task of the Gers is further complicated this afternoon due to the multiplication of the lesions. We will talk about that shortly, but the highlight is that the Rangers have doubts to the bottom.
All this leads to the conclusion that it will be a Celtic victory for Cushty, no stranger things have happened yet and that the home team will accept as true with its functionality during the last League Cup defeat through Brendan Rodger’s team last month.
We’ll have all the news from Glasgow ahead of the 3pm kick-off and then updates from Ibrox when the action gets underway!
