Very good, how about that to impress?
Rangers managed 24 shots against Celtic, which is the same number of their opponents in a Championship match since records began, while the Bhoys controlled 4 shots, the fewest they had taken in a league match since records began the records.
Not bad going from Rangers. It’s even more remarkable considering they only had 39 per cent of the ball…

He also adds that he hopes his father, the legendary star Gheorge, who was in the stands, can come more after seeing this victory.

Chris Sutton, Coanfrerion of the Mail Sport podcast, everything is on! He shared his rapid reaction in X.

It’s the best start to the new year for the Rangers and deserves to be enjoyed in style, but there’s a sobering fact.
Rangers remain 11 Celtic problems. Halfway through the season, the hole is not insurmountable, but they want to move on.
It’s hard to see where Celtic’s next defeat will come from, but at least Rangers denied them their invincibility this league crusade, and were given revenge for their collapse in September.
By Luke Power
Now, we’re catching our breath after that.
Surprisingly, this is the second time Brendan Rodgers has lost to the Rangers in 21 games. They won 16. Celtic had the advantage in the old affairs of recent history.
Drink it in, Rangers fans. These moments don’t come around so often nowadays.

The rangers win!!
Congratulations to Clément and his team who came into form or ended up creating champions with a 3-0 victory!
A surprise score and a surprise game. Celtic were terrible and Rangers took all the credit.
By Tum Balogun
You don’t want to waste time, Phillippe. You have 3 nulls! Choose to make even more adjustments before the final acid. Hagi, Igamane and Raskin leave for Cortes, Barron and poses.
By Tum Balogun
Jefte gets his ovation from the fans as he is replaced by the youngster Fraser.
By tum balogun
Terrifying moment at Ibrox as play is stopped after a Celtic player hit an object thrown from the stoppages.

Where does this come from?
Jefte bombards the left flank and his deflected cross falls to substitute Danilo, who calmly slides the ball past a helpless Schmeichel. It is a very good afternoon for Rodgers’ team, which was in all departments for the moment.

Brazilian striker Danilo replaces Bajrami during the last 10 minutes of the match.
By Tum Balogun
Igamane lets himself down after doing all the hard work to get past the Celtic defence. Rangers were in again on Schmeichel’s goal but a frankly awful attempted pass from the striker saw the move break down.

Hatate is replaced via club signature machines during the final 15 minutes of the match.

Just what they deserve!
Rangers double their lead and it’s a first Rangers goal for the defender Robin Propper. Celtic’s marking from the corner which led to the goal was shocking.
Hagi had a free header from the penalty spot that was blocked on the line and fell to Propper who really couldn’t miss. Ibrox is bouncing. Rangers are on for the win.
By Tum Balogun
Brendan Rodgers saw enough. It makes a triple replacement after the hour, Idah, Valle and McCowan come for Kyogo, Taylor and Bernardo.
By Tum Balogun
The end comes from Jefte after its shock in the first half. He hastened the type of the Rangers after beating him by the speed on the line. Implant caution.
By Tum Balogun
Cerny arrives on task by the time this afternoon and how big can it be?He won the ball unopposed to Schmeichel to beat. He shaped it to find out in the top remote corner, but he put it too wide and saw his efforts come back from the foot of the post.
I should have marked.

Rangers be warned. Kyogo produces a magical moment that turns out to have taken visitors to the same level. But the attacker’s first run came too early and he went past the last defender as he made the pass.
It’s a genuine shame, because what he did after that special. The attacker brought it to his chest and hooked it over Kelly and the net. What a purpose that would have been.
By TUM Balogun
Celtic already looks better. Kyogo and Maeda took the ball in complex positions, forcing Sterling to cope with the danger. Nio Goalmouth Action to communicate about everything for the moment, yet all that Rodgers said turns out to have worked a treat.

Rodgers resists the urge to make changes at the break. It’s Rangers who kick things off in the second period. Can they keep it going?

It’s been pretty dominant stuff from the home side in terms of shots. They’ll be disappointed to have only forced Schmeichel into one save.

There’s a coming together between the skippers of both teams as the referee’s half-time whistle blows at Obrox. Raskin is shown the third yellow card of the match, while McGregor escapes what would have been his second of the match.
Philippe Clément will be very happy with his team’s candidacy during the first forty-five minutes. His team has a deserved advantage and looks exactly like the game of its opponents.
Meanwhile, Celtic want to put things right. As undeniable as that. They’ve been terrible for most of this part and they’re lucky to have one.
By TUM Balogun
Kelly made a well -timed contribution past due in the part to maintain the advantage of the Rangers at rest. Celtic despite everything controlled to make an intelligent pass and the ball fell to Kyoto on the edge of the area.
The Japanese star received a smart connection on his half-volley, but Kelly gave in hard and fired.
By Tum Balogun
The Brazilian makes Nicolas Kuhn of the Celtic bleed after a really misguided play right in front of the line judge. The defense of the Rangers was shot down by Kuhn but, perhaps unintentionally, he launched his arm in the direction of the striker.
Doctors do what is most productive to stop blood flow. They will have time to paint well on him after the incoming loose kick.
By Tum Balogun
Two more minutes until the rangers can return to the locker room. Maybe I say they are two more minutes for them to locate a deserved second. Surely Celtic can’t be so bad after the break?
By Tum Balogun
Carter-Vickers to the rescue of Celtic after Igamane played with a devastating ball. The Rangers striker took a long time to decide which of the 3 characteristics he would locate on the counterattack and after opting for the center back Diamonde, his pass was so close to locating him. .
Carter-Vikers, but they had other concepts and perfectly timed a slide shot that eliminated the Rangers man.
By tum balogun
The Celtic skipper gets a really stupid booking, in another demonstration of how rattled the champions are. The Scotland international is cautioned for sticking a leg out as Rangers tried to take a quick free kick. Let’s see if that comes back to haunt him.
By Tum Balogun
Brendan Rodgers will be furious. Too many of his stars make mistakes. They are intimidated through the Rangers and possibly would be the luck of being just a goal.
By Tum Balogun
A sure shine in the middle of the park opened Celtic up and they deserved to have noticed the hosts double their lead. The striker discovered his teammate Cerny, who made a pass to Yilmaz, who overlapped when he deserved to have taken it inside and took his luck.
This resolution ended up failing, but Clément will be pleased to see his team one era away from their own goal.
By Tum Balogun
Alright, back to the action. Celtic have just started to exert themselves on their hosts in the last few minutes. Their passages of play are lasting that little bit longer, the passes are reaching their man on a more consistent basis but there hasn’t been a real goalscoring opening just yet.
A few minutes ago, Maeda intervened from the left flank and tried to unmark a shot in the far corner, but well next to Kelly’s left post.

Look who made the north for big game hunting at Ibrox. The most sensible goalscorer of all time in the Premier League and former teammate of the iconic Celtic Chris Sutton, Alan Sheare.
The legend of Newcastle turns out to be in intelligent spirits. Up to far, he has received an exciting match.
By tum Balogun
The Rangers press has been remarkable so far in this game. They cannot continue with this. This time it was the side Yilmaz who picked it up in a deep position and went to the Celtic area.
Unfortunately for the defender, he couldn’t catch his strike as sweetly as his team-mate and his shot was rather easy for Schmeichel to save.

Cerny almost doubled the advantage of the Rangers with a long -range effort that deviated in the crossbar of Schmeichel. The Danish seemed quite without blood about it, but it was very close.
By Tum Balogun
The Rangers treated some manic minutes of goal well. Celtic continue to look dangerous in attack, but Clement will be pleased with the way his team handled their feelings after taking the lead.
It’s been the perfect first 10 or so minutes.
By tum balogun
WHAT ABOUT THAT!
I talked about Celtic’s elegance in attack, but Rangers have just shown that they have a lot. The home team intercepts a careless pass from the midfielder and it is Raskin who heads into the Celtic defence.
He flicks it back to Hagi who arrows a low drive past Schmeichel. What a start. What a noise from Ibrox.
By Tum Balogun
The Rangers respond and force the Celtic defense to 3 blocks. They are calling for a penalty, but none of Bajrami’s efforts caught a Celtic handball. Despite their defensive injuries, they still pose a risk. It’s proof.
By TUM Balogun
I’m about to say how well Rangers started, how competitive they were in the first minute and out of nowhere Celtic took the lead with two passes and forced a corner.
From the set-piece Rangers were fortunately not to concede when Maeda failed to connect from an inswinging cross. This could be a long afternoon for the home supporters.

Celtic is underway in Glasgow. Hopefully be smart.

Ibrox was silent to pay tribute to the lost lives in the Ibrox crisis in 1971. Impeccably observed at the entire level at the time of the 54th anniversary of the tragedy.

The players are in the box in front of a packed Ibrox stadium. Rangers and Clément cannot lose this match, let alone seriously. The exhausted team that is about to face Rodgers’ conquering Celtic was nowhere to be seen.

There is a long time before the action in Ibrox ends. We have some photos of Liam Kelly, replacing Jack Butland, heating for the crash. It is a great day for the 28 -year -old, who plays his second league appearance of the season.

This doesn’t make delightful Rangers reading enthusiasts. As mentioned, Celtic at the most sensible of the table with 50 problems out of 18 games. Come with 36, two more than the Aberdeen Wonder Pack.
Closing a hole as big as this would be extraordinary, Rodgers’ Celtic have proven to be an almost unstoppable force over the years.

The visitors are building the lead for this afternoon’s match with the option of taking a 17-point lead over their rivals. Judging by the look on their faces, I think that’s precisely what they intend to do.

So let’s take a closer look at the problems of injuries that affect the local team today. The main goalkeeper Jack Butland is out after being admitted to the hospital with an internal hemorrhage in his leg.
Elsewhere, captain James Tavernier, Neraysho Kasanwirjo and John Souttar will also be available. LEON BALOGun, without quotes, it is a doubt.
To be informed more about this terrifying but earthly injury, take a look at the story below.

A service was performed at the Ibrox Disaster Memorial before today’s clash. The Rangers manager, Phillipe Clement, the post -leader Executive Patrick Stewart, President Celta Peter Lawwell and have paid tribute to the 66 football enthusiasts who tragically died on the floor an assembly between the two left in 1971.
Today marks years since that horrific tragedy.

The Belgian coach has been under pressure this season for his team’s performances and, most importantly, their results. Clement arrived at Ibrox in October 2023 and has since faced Celtic six times without a win.
He came close to reaching the League Cup final, when his team suffered an agonizing 5-4 shooting defeat after a 3-3 draw. Will today be the seventh time he is lucky? You feel that this is how it should be.

Here are some pictures of the home stars arriving at Ibrox for this afternoon’s game. I see some smiles! A few of the players are clearly relishing the chance to shock a few today.

Hello and welcome to the Sport policy of the first Old Firm Derby of 2025, the 444th in history, in fact. It’s fair to say that this one hasn’t come at that point for the House team, who are coming off a loss and a draw in their last two games.
Those effects saw the appearance of Philippe Clemement launching 14 problems from arch-rivals Celtic in the name race. This is already unassailable, 17 cannot be accepted.
The Gers’ task is made all the harder this afternoon on account of their spate of injuries. We’ll get into it shortly but the cliff note is that Rangers are doubt to their bare bones.
All of this leads to the conclusion that it will be a win for Celtic, but stranger things have happened and the home side will take confidence from their performance in the League Cup final defeat to Brendan Rodger’s side last month.
We’ll have everything from Glasgow before the start of 3:00 p. m. and then Ibrox updates when the action begins!
