Liverpool attacking midfielder Fabio Carvalho ended his season at RB Leipzig after 15 games.
RB Leipzig sporting director Rouven Schroder accused Liverpool attacking midfielder Fabio Carvalho of not being fit to fight in the Bundesliga.
The Reds’ ability signed for the German side this summer, initially until the end of the season. However, his fate was cut short when Jurgen Klopp’s side called up the 21-year-old after just 158 minutes on the final German flight, making 15 appearances in all competitions.
Carvalho was basically on the bench for Die Roten Bullen as he was unable to usurp Dani Olmo and Lois Openda after Marco Rose opted to use him as a left winger alongside him.

Portugal’s Under-21 international has completed a loan spell at Hull City for the second half of the season after a disappointing spell in Germany. And the Leipzig coach argued that Carvalho is not in a position to fight for first-team football.
“We consciously chose Fabio last summer,” he said, as quoted by RB Live. “He’s had a season with Fulham in the English second tier, which is very physical.
“We said to ourselves: a wonderful talent, an intelligent age, he has already acquired his experience. However, a player is only recognized as an end product when they are there.
