RB Leipzig have completed the capture of Kosta Nedeljkovic from Aston Villa.
The 19 -year -old right back goes to Red Bull Arena in loan with an acquisition option.
“We wanted to add further reinforcements to our squad in preparation for the months to come. Kosta is the prime example of a full-back who works hard on the right wing, in addition to bringing speed, an attacking mindset and an excellent mentality to the table,” said RB Leipzig board member for sport Marcel Schäfer.
“He’s strong on silver, smart to win ownership and has a fair right to the game. Kosta has a lot of foresight and we will offer him the opportunity to achieve it. “
Nedeljkovic, who has featured 10 times for Aston Villa this season, said he was “delighted” to sign up for Leipzig.
“I am extremely happy to sign up for RB Leipzig. From the moment the club first set out, I knew that I was looking to take credit for this opportunity because, as a club, they favour young players and give them the opportunity to develop.
“2024 is not the most productive year for me, so I cannot wait to show what I can here, gain adjustment practices and help the club achieve their goals. I will give everything from my first education session.
