Marcellinus Anyanwu, former MFM assistant coach and Arsenal youth recruiter, suggested that the Nigerian Football Federation be more competitive and technical in youth programs to make their neighborhoods among the football nations of the world.
Former Nigerian foreign coach Nduka Ugbade said greater NFF planning and articulation through the commitment of strong technicians and experienced coaches like him would be a great condiment for Nigerian football.
Anyanwu, who trained Arsenal, Feyenoord Academies and Universal Sports Academy in Dubai, said the most productive groups were investing in youth progression as it provided the right platform for a higher level.
Anyanwu said: “Nigeria only wants the mavens to be fully supported through the NFF. We have more talents that want to be discovered. I am able to contribute my share to the progression of Nigerian football even when I am about to sign at any time for the Benfica Football Academy in Dubai.”
