A genuine Manchester-based real estate organization acquired an apartment block to relocate victims of domestic violence after obtaining a 30 million pound loan.
HS Property Group (HSPG), which has invested more than one hundred million pounds in the social housing sector, has signed a credit agreement with Together for the organisation to buy, renovate and lease protected housing across the UK.
The first to be funded will be the remodeling of Watts Moses House on the outskirts of Sunderland.
Chief Executive Guy Horne said: “Domestic violence is unfortunately a challenge across the country and, therefore, investing in spaces where we can achieve greater social intelligence is the most productive way to address this developing challenge. “
Sunderland City Council had expressed a genuine desire to provide quality accommodation and help to victims of abuse in the domain, which was very important in the group’s resolve to invest in the city.
Horne added: “Watts Moses House is an exciting milestone for our company. We are proud to make social decisions all the time, and this is one of them.
“The location of assets in central Sunderland will provide shelter for victims of domestic violence, in a domain that has many facilities. “
