Real Madrid Ace Kylian Mbappe Reveals Reason To Stay At PSG ‘For Life’

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe used an appearance in a BeIN Sports report to reveal that he would’ve stayed at Paris Saint-Germain “for life” had Los Blancos not been interested in him.

After ditching President Florentino Perez twice at the altar in 2017 and 2022, Mbappe finally decided to let his PSG contract run down this summer and subsequently join the 15-time Champions League winners.

His start to life at the Bernabeu hasn’t been plain sailing, with head coach Carlo Ancelotti even admitting that the Frenchman hasn’t been at his “best level” following a 2-1 loss to Athletic Club a fortnight ago.

Since the coach made the comment, Mbappé has scored goals in wins over Girona, Atalanta and Pachuca, the latter helping to seal his second trophy in Madrid colors on Wednesday after winning the Intercontinental Cup trophy in the defeat of Pachucha 3-0 in Qatar.

During his appearance on BeIN Sports’ Be United program, Mbappe reflected on his time in the French capital as a professional.

“I spent seven years at PSG, it was an honour,” he began. “I don’t think I have said it enough, nor have I shown it enough, but I have always been aware of where I am and the great club that PSG is.”

“I’ve always said that it is the biggest club in France and one of the best in the world. I went to the biggest club in the world. I have always said that it was the only club for which I would have left PSG,” Mbappe went on.

“If I hadn’t been able to move to Real Madrid, I would have stayed at PSG all my life. I had the dream of playing there and I’m very happy. But of course, I watch PSG games, I have friends in the team and they are betting well at the moment. “

Asked who he would have liked to have played with, Mbappe stated: “I’m not going to be chauvinistic and I would say Zinedine Zidane.”

“I played with wonderful players: [Lionel] Messi, Neymar, [Antoine] Griezmann, [Paul] Pogba, [Karim] Benzema. . . It would have been fun to play with Cristiano Ronaldo, it’s going to be very difficult “Now, I still had the chance to play against him, a legend of the sport,” Mbappé added.
