Real Madrid defeated Panathinaikos 90-78 for their 12th EuroLeague win Thursday in Round 13 of the 2023-24 regular season.
The first quarter ended 24-23 in favor of Real Madrid, while the second quarter ended 22-22, but the Spanish club controlled the last half, scoring 44 points.
Mario Hezonja scored 19 goals to lead the Whites against his former club. Gabriel Deck ended up in trouble and Dzanan Musa added 14 goals to defend EuroLeague champion Real Madrid.
Panathinaikos’ Kendrick Nunn was the game’s top scorer with 24 points and Mathias Lessort came off the bench to score 18.
Real Madrid are atop of the standings at 12 – 1. Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens are 13th at 6 – 7.
